The work we do in Revive Lake Cathie is challenging yet important and rewarding. We rely on our passionate volunteers to advocate for the Lake, conduct outreach efforts, engage in activities and events, and aid with research and support.
To become a volunteer, all applicants must attain membership at the low cost of $26 per year. This fee covers insurance and helps pay for essential funds for the Revive Lake Cathie organisation. We only allow members to volunteer, as per our bylaws and insurance requirements.
To become a member of Revive Lake Cathie, contact us today about an application.
We conduct regular testing on Lake Cathie/Lake Innes Estuarine System to monitor the safety levels of the water and track changes in the water’s contamination levels. Thanks to an investment in modern technology, the NSW Water Watch program allows a probe to enter the water and send essential data back up to us.
Our monthly testing results are qualified by Revive Lake Cathiie's marine biologist Dr Deb Geronimi (PhD)
To view the latest testing results, head to Revive Lake Cathie NSW Water Watch page and click “Community Data”.
